Visiting Chinese Vice Premier LiKeqiang and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban agreed to promotethe friendly and cooperative partnership between the two countriesduring a talk on Tuesday. Li said that the Sino-Hungarian relations made great headway sincethe two countries established diplomatic relations in 1949 and havebeen developing fast in recent years. The Chinese vice premier spoke highly of remarkable achievements ofbilateral economic and trade cooperation and the increasingpeople-to-people exchanges and nongovernmental contacts between thetwo countries. Third, the two countries should step up financial cooperation tosupport bilateral economic and trade cooperation. Speaking highly ofgreat achievements China has made, Orban said that theHungary-China relations are in its best period. Li arrived in Budapest on Monday for a two-day official visit toHungary. The Chinese vice premier will also visit Belgium and European Unionheadquarters in Brussels later this week.
